Alabama’s Depth Chart for ReliaQuest Bowl Against Michigan

Alabama has released its updated depth chart for the ReliaQuest Bowl against Michigan, reflecting several significant changes due to player departures and injuries.

Offensive Adjustments:

Wide Receiver (Slot): Freshman Rico Scott is set to start, replacing Kendrick Law, who has entered the transfer portal. Jaylen Mbakwe, previously a defensive back, is now listed as Scott’s backup, indicating a strategic shift to bolster the receiving corps.

Running Back: With Justice Haynes transferring, Jam Miller is expected to take on a more prominent role in the backfield.

Defensive Adjustments:

Safety: Freshman Zavier Mincey will start at safety, filling in for the injured Malachi Moore, who recently underwent surgery.

Husky (Nickelback): DaShawn Jones is slated to start at the Husky position, following DeVonta Smith’s transfer to Notre Dame.
