Lions gossip:”Tannehill’s Uncertain Performance Raises Questions for Lions”
Tannehill is an intriguing player due to his inconsistent performance, with both strong and poor seasons. Sometimes, he has been a legitimate playoff-caliber quarterback, while other times, he has significantly contributed to his teams missing the postseason.
Last season, before being benched for Will Levis, Tannehill played 10 games for the Tennessee Titans and had disappointing stats. He completed 64.8 percent of his passes for 1,616 yards, with four touchdowns and seven interceptions.
For the Detroit Lions, signing Tannehill could be a questionable move. If they believe he can operate the offense better than Hooker, a one-year deal might be worthwhile, though ideally, Tannehill wouldn’t need to play.
