Following the Cleveland Cavaliers’ playoff elimination on Wednesday, May 15, attention is now on the future of their five-time All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell.
ESPN’s Zach Lowe reports that the Miami Heat “are lurking” if Mitchell declines a four-year, $208.5 million contract extension with the Cavaliers this summer.
“They’ve had ties with Mitchell over the years,” Lowe mentioned on “Get Up” on May 16. “They’re lurking and possess significant assets, including picks and young players, to offer.”
