Months later, after Michigan’s spring game concluded, offensive coordinator Kirk Campbell, promoted by Moore from quarterbacks coach, faced similar inquiries. Campbell asserted to reporters that the addition of another quarterback “isn’t currently part of our plans,” and he curtly responded to a follow-up question.

It seems that Campbell and Moore remain steadfast in their decision, as they opted not to recruit a quarterback during the recent surge of portal activity in April and May. All of the top 25 quarterbacks in the 247Sports Transfer Portal Rankings have commitments or are already enrolled elsewhere. None of the remaining portal players are likely seen as upgrades over Michigan’s current roster.
